Macon Police Search For Leads After Man Is Shot
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Thursday, Macon police responded to a call in reference to a person shot at 297 Pansy Avenue, just before 8P.M.
Upon arrival, the victim was laying in the front yard where residents stood. According to a news release, those surrounding the scene were not willing to provide investigators with information on the incident.
33-year-old Joblice “J-bone” Jones was transported to the Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the upper leg, near the groin.
Police believe the shooting occurred in response to a previous altercation.
MPD is searching for a champagne or silver 4-door Honda Civic with a North Carolina tag.
The vehicle was occupied by two or three African American males whose faces were covered with bandanas and were wearing all black.
