Biggest Loser Runner Up Speaks At Ladies Night Out
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (WMGT/41NBC) – The runner up of NBC’s Biggest Loser hung out with the ladies of Middle Georgia Thursday night.
Season 4 runner up, Julie Hadden, who lives in Macon with her husband and two sons, shared her inspirational story with more than 300 women at Shirley Hills Baptist Church.
When Julie was on the show in 200, she lost nearly 100 pounds in 8 months.
The biggest loser star spoke at Thursday’s fundraiser for Covenant Care Adoption Services. The group works to make adoption affordable and gives guidance to pregnant mothers.
Julie said her experience on the Biggest Loser not only helped her lose weight, but also showed her how adoption could make her dream of motherhood come true.
“When I came home, unbeknownst to me through a miraculous set of circumstances I ended up adopting. So this event tonight is so close to my heart because I have an adopted son and he’s crazy and wild and I know what a blessing it is,” said Hadden.
“Well this is a great event to help everybody understand what Covenant Care Services is all about. It’s about finding two parent Christian homes for babies who are available to be adopted, whose mothers have made an adoption plan. It’s also about helping the birth mothers,” said The Former First Lady of Georgia, Mary Perdue. Perdue is on Covenant Care Services Board of Directors.
