Warner Robins City Council Votes for Employee Pay Raise
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Warner Robins city employees can expect to see a bump in their next paycheck.
Council voted 5-0 to increase the city pay scale for the last three months of the 2011-2012 fiscal year.
Councilman Daron Lee didn’t vote.
Mayor Chuck Shaheen doesn’t believe it’s a good business decision to amend the budget so late in the year, but he is in full support of giving city employees the raise they deserve.
The increase will cost the city just under $200,000.
