Macon Police Arrest Murder Suspect

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Police have arrested the man believed to be connected to the murder of 40 year-old Leonard Cox. A tip directed law enforcement officials to the Bellevue area.

According to a news release, Maurice Dugger was found walking down Villa Avenue in Macon on Thursday night. He took off running but officers were able to catch him.

Dugger is charged with armed robbery and felony murder. He is now being held at the Bibb County LEC.
