Girl Scouts Celebrate 100th Anniversary

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Today, more than 60 million ladies in the United States have something to celebrate.

Juliette Gordon Low created the Girl Scouts 100 years ago today in 1912. The organization was founded a few hundred miles down the road in Savannah.

Troops right here in Middle Georgia have been out for the past few weeks continuing one of the most well-known traditions of selling cookies.
