The Annual Old Book Sale Kicks off This Thursday

The Annual Old Book Sale kicks off this Thursday.  Book lovers will have more than a 100,000 books to choose from at the Macon Centreplex.  Volunteers from “Friends of the Library” have finished setting up all the books for the big day.  Shoppers will have rows and rows of books to choose from.  Seventy-five categories of books will be on display including text books, cook books, non-fiction, and science fiction.

There is no cost to get in, and parking is free.  Only cash and checks will be accepted for purchases.  If you are looking to recycle your old books, you can take them to the Washington Memorial Library or any of the Bibb County library branches. The book sale will be going on Thursday and Friday from 10am-7pm, Saturday from 10am-5pm, and Sunday from noon until 5pm
