Stephen McDaniel’s Lawyers to Call Witnesses in Bond Hearing

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Lawyers for accused murderer Stephen McDaniel plan to call witnesses in hopes of getting McDaniel out on Bond. McDaniel has been in jail for more than 6 months accused of killing his neighbor, Lauren Giddings.

McDaniel’s lawyers filed the motion for bond in Bibb County Superior Court Thursday afternoon. His attorney Floyd Buford says he is not sure when it will be heard. Buford says resolving whether the right judge is assigned to his client’s case needs to come first. He also does not know when that issue will be solved.
