Bibb County Sheriff’s Office searching for missing 33-year-old Macon man

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating a 33-year-old man who has been missing since July.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a 33-year-old man who has been missing since July.

According to deputies, Vanquavias Hamilton was reported missing by family members on September 8, 2026. Hamilton was last seen July 1, in the 150 block of Steven Drive in Macon.

He is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Investigators believe Hamilton may be in the Harrison Road area of Macon. According to his family, Hamilton has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.
