Two Teens Arrested at Cherry Blossom Festival

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two teenagers are arrested this weekend at the Cherry Blossom Festival in downtown Macon.

Police were called to Central City Park Saturday around 9:30pm in reference to a disturbance. Officers dispersed a group of young people and suspected gang members. Macon Police told 18-year-old D’Marcus Treshon Dandy to leave the park. He refused to leave so police tried to arrest him. Dandy became combative so the officer tased him. Dandy is charged with loitering and obstruction.

A 15 year old was arrested Sunday evening at the park and charged with acting disorderly and felony obstruction.
