High Fire Danger For Tuesday

High Fire Danger conditions are present across much of North and Middle Georgia today. In Middle Georgia those conditions exist in the following counties: Baldwin, Bibb, Crawford, Hancock, Jones, Monroe, Twiggs, Washington, and Wilkinson.

Low relative humidity values of 25 percent or less can be expected this afternoon and it will also be breezy at times. The combination of these two factors make conditions very dangerous for outdoor burning.

Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities concerning whether you may burn outdoors. If you do burn outside, please use extreme caution.

Remember to “mind your butts!” When disposing of cigarette butts, be careful!
