Fine Fettle to open medical cannabis store in Macon October 15

The new retail location will give patients another way to explore medical cannabis products and connect with the company.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Fine Fettle is preparing to open its first retail store in Macon on October 15, giving patients another place to learn about medical cannabis products and explore available options.

The company has operated in the Macon area since 2022, including a cultivation facility elsewhere in the city. According to Fine Fettle, construction on the new retail location began about three months ago.

Will Kacheris, national director of facilities for Fine Fettle, said the store will allow the company to connect directly with patients and better understand their needs.

“The difference between just being able to produce products and us being able to have face time with our patients, being able to understand their needs, and pretty much being able to tailor suit our products in the future to better serve our patients and follow the guidelines of the state,” Kacheris said. “It’s gonna really be a big advancement for Fine Fettle.”

Kacheris also said recent changes to Georgia’s medical cannabis program have expanded access to products, including vapes and vaporizable flower.

Fine Fettle encourages people interested in medical cannabis to talk with their doctors about their options and determine what may be appropriate for them.

The company plans to celebrate the store’s opening with catered food, events and discounts for new customers as it looks to become more involved in the Macon community.
