Gregory Sees Good Signs In First Year At Georgia Tech
ATLANTA (AP) – Brian Gregory is hoping Thursday night’s ACC tournament game against Miami provides evidence of the improvement he says he has seen in his first year as Georgia Tech’s coach.
Georgia Tech is the No. 11 seed in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament after finishing the regular season 11-19 overall and 4-12 in the league. The Yellow Jackets won two of their last three games, including Saturday’s 69-62 win over Wake Forest.
Six weeks have passed since Miami took a 64-49 win at Georgia Tech, giving the Yellow Jackets their fourth of six straight losses.
Gregory says his team still must improve but is playing its best basketball of the season just in time to play host to the ACC tournament.
