Falcons Agree To Terms With Safety Thomas DeCoud
Flowery Branch, Ga. (AP) – The Falcons have agreed to terms with safety Thomas DeCoud. The team announced the move on Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not released.
The 6-foot, 192-pound DeCoud was originally selected by the Falcons in the third round (98th of the 2008 NFL draft. He has started 47 of 58 games in his four seasons with Atlanta. He has two sacks, eight interceptions, four forced fumbles and 19 passes defensed.
In 2011, DeCoud ranked third on the team with 109 tackles and a career-high four interceptions.
