New Resource For Macon’s Youth
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A new community group is formed in Macon to help the area’s youth and destitute.
A ceremony was held at the Frank Johnson Community Center Wednesday to announce the formation of “Helping Hands Community Outreach.”
Group organizers say they want to help you find resources in education, housing, substance abuse, employment and more.
“Any area that will affect our people in the community we are here to help them find ways to solve their problems,” said Pastor Leroy Reeves Jr., Helping Hands Community Outreach.
Pastor Reeves says the group was formed after gang violence took the life of one of Macon’s youth earlier this year.
