MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Looking for something to do this weekend? From a major country music concert to a classic fairy tale brought to life on stage, there are plenty of events happening across Middle Georgia.
Here are five events to check out this weekend:
Jon Pardi brings Gamblin’ Man Tour to Macon
Country music star Jon Pardi is bringing his Gamblin’ Man Tour to the Atrium Health Amphitheater in Macon Friday, October 2.
Alexandra Kay and Sadie Bass will join Pardi as special guests.
The outdoor concert is rain or shine. Lawn chairs will not be allowed at the event.
Tickets are mobile-only, and concertgoers are encouraged to save their tickets to Apple Wallet, Google Pay or the Ticketmaster app for easier entry.
Cinderella comes to the Grand Opera House
The United European Ballet Company is bringing Cinderella to the stage in Macon.
The production features music by Sergei Prokofiev and follows the classic story of Cinderella, from hardship to a happy ending.
The two-act ballet features international performers, hand-painted scenery and costumes designed by European artists.
The production is presented by Classical Arts Entertainment and is designed for audiences of all ages.
Celebrate Hope Breast Cancer Awareness Gala
The Celebrate Hope Breast Cancer Awareness Gala is happening Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Family Life Center of Perry Methodist Church.
The event will honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors while supporting people currently facing the disease.
Guests can expect food, fellowship, educational information and stories from breast cancer survivors and others on their journeys.
Organizers are encouraging guests to dress in their finest attire with a touch of pink.
The Family Life Center is located at 1002 Carroll Street in Perry.
Let’s Move! Macon 5K Run/Walk
If you want to get your weekend started with some exercise, the Let’s Move! Macon 5K Run/Walk takes place Saturday morning.
The race begins at 8:30 a.m. at 2551 North Pierce Drive in Macon.
The event is open to both runners and walkers, with registration costing $10.
The race is part of a yearlong celebration marking the 200th anniversary of First Baptist Church on New Street and First Baptist Church of Christ and their shared history dating back to 1826.
Organizers say the event is designed to encourage healthy lifestyles and bring the community together.
I AM W.O.W. Reignite 2026 Women’s Symposium
The I AM W.O.W. Reignite 2026 Women’s Symposium takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Warner Robins.
The event is designed as a day of empowerment, inspiration, conversation, healing and connection.
Organizers say the symposium will focus on topics including overcoming fear, intentional growth, leadership, emotional and spiritual healing, purpose and building community.
The event will be held at Suite 616, 2191 Watson Boulevard, Suite A, in Warner Robins.
