Georgia voter registration deadline is Monday, October 5

Early voting begins October 13 and continues through October 30. Election Day is November 3.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia voters have until Monday, October 5, to register or update their information ahead of the November 3 general election.

State Rep. Miriam Paris and state Sen. David Lucas are urging voters to check their registration and make a plan to vote early and in person.

Early voting begins October 13 and runs through October 30. The lawmakers are encouraging Georgians to make their voices heard at the polls.

“I beg you don’t sit idly by, voice your opinion, don’t just talk about it,” Lucas said. “You feel the pain like I feel the pain. I’m urging you, register by October 5, early vote, and we will make sure that you’re not intimidated at the polls when you go to vote.”

Election Day is November 3.
