Bibb County deputies investigate shots fired from vehicle on Commanche Drive in Macon

No injuries were reported.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after shots were reportedly fired from a vehicle on Commanche Drive Wednesday morning.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 600 block of Commanche Drive just before 9 a.m. September 30 regarding a report of a suspicious vehicle.

While deputies were on the way, they were told the driver of a dark-colored sedan had fired shots from the vehicle.

The suspect and vehicle were gone when deputies arrived.

No injuries were reported. Deputies are working to identify the driver and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The investigation remains ongoing. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
