Raising Cane’s to open first Macon restaurant Oct. 19, hiring more than 110 crewmembers

Award-winning chicken finger chain brings jobs and opening day festivities to Macon

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Raising Cane’s will open its first Macon location at 4951 Riverside Drive on Oct. 19th, bringing its popular chicken finger meals to Macon along with more than 110 new jobs.

The fast-food chain, known for its chicken fingers and Cane’s sauce, is currently hiring for a variety of positions ahead of the grand opening. Available roles include cashier, customer service associate, fry cook, and other restaurant jobs.

Applications are available online at jobs.raisingcanes.com, with interviews being held at the new Macon restaurant.

The company says employees can receive competitive wages, flexible schedules, and weekly pay. Benefits include medical and pharmacy coverage, a 401(k) with employer match for employees 21 and older, education discounts, and several insurance options.

Employees also receive time off for major holidays, along with early closures for nationally recognized events, including the Super Bowl.

Raising Cane’s says its October 19 opening celebration will include giveaways, community involvement, and other surprises for customers. Early arrivals will be able to take part in the festivities surrounding the chain’s first restaurant in the Macon area.

The company says the new location also plans to work with local schools, sports teams, and nonprofits through fundraisers, sponsorships, and community partnerships.
