MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — An 18-year-old man was injured in a shooting Monday evening on Lions Place, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the 4100 block of Lions Place shortly after 6 p.m. and found the man suffering from a gunshot wound.

The sheriff’s office said his injuries were not life-threatening. Paramedics took him to a local medical facility, where he was listed in stable condition.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating what led to the shooting.
