Rhythm & Rally hosting round robin pickleball fundraiser for Georgia Forward on August 31
The all-ages, all-skill-levels event at the Macon Mall benefits a nonprofit focused on youth literacy and civic engagement across Georgia.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)— Rhythm & Rally at the Macon Mall is hosting a round robin pickleball tournament Monday, August 31. The event is open to players of all ages and skill levels as a fundraiser for the Georgia Forward organization.
Staff describe the event as welcoming to everyone from ages 8 to 80, whether participants are seasoned competitors in the fast-growing sport or complete beginners. Spectators are also welcome to attend.
General Manager John Roberts explained what Georgia Forward is and why Rhythm & Rally chose to support it.
“Georgia Forward is a nonprofit organization committed to investing in literacy efforts for Georgia’s youngest citizens and providing initiatives for youth to be more civically involved,” Roberts said.
The fundraiser takes place Monday at Rhythm & Rally inside the Macon Mall.
