MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Keisha Lance Bottoms is bringing her campaign for Georgia governor to Middle Georgia this weekend, with a town hall scheduled in Macon.

A press conference is scheduled for 4:15 p.m.

The town hall begins at 5 p.m. and is expected to bring together residents, community leaders, professionals, faith leaders and other stakeholders from Macon and communities across Middle Georgia.

The event will give Bottoms an opportunity to hear from people in the region and discuss issues important to Georgia voters as she campaigns for governor.

Bottoms’ visit comes as candidates prepare for the 2026 election and work to build support across the state.

The news conference and town hall will be held at the Macon Marriott City Center, 220 Coliseum Drive.

Bottoms sat down in a one-on-one interview with 41NBC earlier in the year, you check that interview out here.
