Two men injured in Dublin shooting, GBI says

Dublin police officers found two men with apparent gunshot wounds Saturday in the 500 block of Vinson Village.

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The GBI is investigating a shooting in Dublin that left two men injured.

The Dublin Police Department requested the GBI investigate the case.

According to the GBI, Dublin police officers responded to a report of a shooting around 4:54 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, in the 500 block of Vinson Village. Officers found two men at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds.

According to a news release from the GBI, the men were taken to regional hospitals for treatment.

One victim is in serious but stable condition. The other victim remains in serious condition.

The investigation is active and ongoing.
