Macon-Bibb EMA seeks student artwork for 2027 emergency preparedness calendar
The deadline to submit artwork is September 30.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) —The Macon-Bibb County Emergency Management Agency is accepting student artwork for its 2027 Emergency Preparedness Calendar.
The annual Children’s Art Contest is open to all Macon-Bibb County students in kindergarten through 12th grade, regardless of where they attend school.
Students can submit drawings or paintings related to emergency preparedness, natural disasters or man-made disasters. Selected artwork will be featured in the 2027 calendar alongside emergency preparedness information and tips.
Artwork must be created horizontally on 8.5-by-11-inch drawing or construction paper. Students may use paint, pen, pencil, pastels, crayons or a combination of materials.
The deadline to submit artwork is September 30.
Students interested in participating should speak with a teacher or art teacher at their school. Applications must be printed, completed and returned to the student’s school.
