Twiggs County Superintendent Resigns

JEFFERSONVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Twiggs County Superintendent Dr. Valya Lee resigns from her position due to personal family matters.

Tuesday, Twiggs County Board Chair Terralon Chaney confirmed both Dr. Lee and Director of Operations Dr. Ken Sanders will both be leaving Twiggs County Public Schools effective June 30, 2012.

Dr. Sanders has chosen to explore other opportunities at this time.
