Two arrested after Bibb County drug investigation, search warrant

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Two siblings were arrested after Bibb County investigators executed a search warrant at a home on Berkshire Drive, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

The search warrant was executed August 7 by investigators with the sheriff’s office Special Investigations Unit and Gang Unit.

The sheriff’s office identified those arrested as Jeremiah “JMo” Kelly and Jayda Kelly.

According to an incident report, investigators seized more than three pounds of marijuana, three firearms, digital scales, packaging materials and thousands of dollars in cash. One of the firearms had been reported stolen.

Both Kellys were charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, among other charges.

The sheriff’s office said Jayda Kelly also faces a theft by receiving charge.
