Perry sets public meeting on future community priorities
The July 9 meeting will focus on Perry’s long-range planning for growth, development, transportation, housing, parks and infrastructure.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- The City of Perry is inviting residents to participate in a Comprehensive Plan public meeting on July 9, 2026.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Houston County Board of Education Central Office, located at 1100 Main Street.
The Comprehensive Plan serves as a long-range roadmap that guides future decisions related to growth, development, transportation, housing, parks, infrastructure, and other community priorities.
Public participation is a critical part of the planning process, helping ensure the plan reflects the needs, values, and vision of the Perry community.
The meeting is free and open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend and share their ideas.
