Middle Georgia College Art Students Working for Wallets

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A group of art students from Middle Georgia College are working for empty wallets to represent those struggling to find work in the tough economy.

The project created by MGC instructor, Heather Hutton, will cover an entire wall in the campus’ gallery with 3,000. Students are crafting wallets out of recycled material to swap for real ones. They’re hoping this exhibit will bring hope for those who are unemployed.
