Early morning shooting on Montpelier Avenue in Macon leaves man hospitalized
According to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded just before 5 a.m. Friday to reports of a person shot in the 2700 block of Montpelier Avenue.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is recovering after an early morning shooting in Macon.
When deputies arrived in the 2700 block of Montpelier Avenue, they found a 31-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before transporting him to a local hospital for further medical care. Medical staff said the man is in stable condition.
The shooting remains under investigation, and no additional details have been released.
