GOPO Toys has recalled 70,000 teething toys after discovering that the silicone strings on the pull string toy are longer and smaller than regulations allow. This design flaw means the strings can reach the back of a child’s throat and get stuck, creating a choking and breathing hazard. There have already been three reported incidents involving children. The toys were sold on Amazon from August 2023 to March 2026. Consumers should stop using the teethers immediately and contact GOPO for a full refund.
