Two men killed in Macon County crash involving tractor-trailer and side-by-side
According to the Georgia State Patrol, troopers responded to the crash around 12:24 a.m. Friday at the intersection of Gene Wilburn Road and Camp Creek Road.

MACON COUNTY (41NBC/WMGT) – Two men are dead following an overnight crash involving a tractor-trailer and a side-by-side vehicle in Macon County.
Investigators say the side-by-side was traveling west on Camp Creek Road and failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Gene Wilburn Road. The vehicle then entered the intersection and struck the side of a northbound tractor-trailer.
Authorities say both occupants of the side-by-side were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene by the Macon County coroner.
The driver of the side-by-side was identified as 28-year-old Joshua Hutchens of Ellaville. The passenger was identified as 27-year-old Chase Turner of Buena Vista.
A Commercial Vehicle Enforcement officer responded to inspect the tractor-trailer following the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
