MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Keisha Lance Bottoms made a stop in Macon Tuesday as part of her “Our Rights, Our Future” tour.

Bottoms is traveling across Georgia this week, encouraging voters to head to the polls while outlining her priorities if elected governor.

During her stop in Macon, Bottoms spoke about the importance of early voting and protecting voting rights across the state. She also addressed concerns surrounding election maps, affordability, and taxes, issues she says are directly impacting families across Georgia.

“The challenges we are facing in this state are not challenges I have ever experienced in my lifetime,” Bottoms said.

Bottoms will continue her tour with stops in other cities, focusing on increasing voter turnout ahead of the upcoming election.
