National Day of Prayer events planned in Macon and Warner Robins

Noon services scheduled May 7 at Rosa Parks Square and Warner Robins City Hall

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Communities in Middle Georgia are preparing to observe the 75th Annual National Day of Prayer with events scheduled in both Macon and Warner Robins.

In Macon, a noon service will be held on May 7th at Rosa Parks Square. The event is organized by Hope for the Heart of Georgia and will include prayers from community and ministry leaders focused on what organizers describe as the seven pillars of influence.

Organizers said a rain location has been set for The Armory Ballroom across the street.

In Warner Robins, a separate National Day of Prayer event is scheduled for noon on May 7 at City Hall Council Chambers, located at 700 Watson Blvd.

Organizers said the event will include public, unified prayer and is open to all. The gathering invites people across generations, denominations and races to participate.
