FBI investigating armed Brinks truck robbery in Philadelphia
Authorities are searching for suspects following a brazen daytime armored truck robbery in Philadelphia.

(NBC)- Federal law enforcement sources say two armed suspects carried out the heist, targeting a Brinks truck and making off with more than $1 million, according to local reports.
Police say the robbery happened just before 9:45 a.m., when two gunmen jumped out of a parked car armed with assault-style rifles and confronted the truck.
Witnesses described a chaotic and fast-moving scene.
“Everything happened fast. It was so quick,” said one eyewitness who was just feet away.
Authorities say the suspects fled the scene in a getaway vehicle, which was later found abandoned under a nearby freeway.
Investigators have not released descriptions of the suspects, but the Federal Bureau of Investigation has taken over the case.
The robbery comes after a string of armored truck heists across Pennsylvania last summer, many of which were captured on camera and led to multiple arrests. Officials say it is not yet clear whether this latest incident is connected.
