MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- A job fair aimed at connecting people with employment opportunities is coming to Macon next week.

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia will host its Spring 2026 Job Fair on April 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anderson Conference Center.

Organizers say they expect up to 40 employers to attend, along with hundreds of job seekers looking for opportunities.

The event is free to attend, giving participants a chance to meet directly with employers and potentially secure employment.

To help job seekers prepare, organizers are also offering affordable professional clothing at the Goodwill store on Eisenhower Parkway ahead of the event.

Candace Simmons, a coordinator with the Middle Georgia Career Center, says the goal is to connect people with real opportunities.

“This is just to connect our job seekers with opportunities to talk with employers, and hopefully land employment,” Simmons said.

Organizers encourage attendees to visit a local job connection center before the event to update their resume and gain early access before doors open to the public.
