MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Contour Airlines is expanding service in Middle Georgia, announcing the return of nonstop flights to Baltimore and the launch of a new route to South Florida from Middle Georgia Regional Airport.

Beginning June 9, 2026, the airline will reinstate nonstop service between Macon and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The Baltimore route previously operated out of Macon and is returning in response to strong community demand.

Contour also announced new nonstop service to Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, marking the airline’s first direct connection from Macon to South Florida.

Company leaders say both moves are part of a broader effort to expand access to key business and leisure destinations.

“Contour Airlines is committed to growing alongside the communities we serve,” said Ben Munson, president of Contour Airlines. “We’ve heard from travelers across Middle Georgia who have been asking for the return of Baltimore service, as well as new options to Florida.”

“If you want to tour the nation’s capital or visit the sunny beaches of Florida or catch a cruise, you’ll soon be able to do it all from here in Macon,” Miller said.

Airport officials say the updated schedule is designed to maximize efficiency while expanding options for passengers.
