Man dies after four-wheeler crash during police pursuit in Fort Valley
According to Georgia State Patrol, troopers were dispatched to a four-wheeler crash on Spruce Street near Perry Railroad Street within the city of Fort Valley.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man is dead after a fatal four-wheeler crash in Fort Valley, according to Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks.
The crash happened at 5:30 p.m. March 28.
According to Georgia State Patrol, troopers were dispatched to a four-wheeler crash on Spruce Street near Perry Railroad Street within the city of Fort Valley.
The four-wheeler was traveling westbound on Spruce Street while actively fleeing the Peach County Sheriff’s Office during a pursuit.
The driver veered onto the south shoulder of the roadway and struck a utility pole with the front of the ATV.
The driver was not wearing a helmet and sustained serious injuries. He was transported to a hospital and died from his injuries on March 31.
The driver has been identified as 36-year-old Bradley Williams.
