BS Report: March 19, 2026

What a great week for sports here in the state of Georgia and all over the country. It’s great for the state of Georgia because as the NCAA tournament starts today and of course rolls into tomorrow, we have two teams in the state of Georgia that are in the tournament. Kennesaw State and Georgia. How about that? There’s a reason to watch the tournament this time.

And of course the dogs they play Saint Louis later tonight. 945 is the expected start time will probably be a little lighter than that. Georgia has to rebound after their horrible performance in the SEC tournament and hopefully they will. They’ve got a good matchup here with Saint Louis, a team that has five players that score between 9.9 points per game and around 13.5 points per game. So a very even team here. But Georgia has to have some surreal the big center in the middle. Play well for them and that should be a fun thing to watch tonight. If Georgia wins, they’ll likely go on to the second round to face the number one seed in that bracket. And that is Michigan. And that could be a whole ‘nother story, but one thing at a time. Let’s see how the dogs do tonight against Saint Louis. So that’ll be fun to watch.

And then of course the Hawks they continue to win. They won last night in Dallas by 12 points. They really led throughout the whole game. Never really much doubt about the game as it started all ten and nothing. And Onyeka Okongwu scored all ten points.

This is getting kind of unreal. Really with this team, even last night when Jonathan Kuminga tried to throw the ball down the court, he made the shot. It was from the other team’s foul line. Free throw line. He tried to lob a long pass to a teammate and it went in the basket. It was crazy. All Kuminga could do is smile because it was plumb funny to see that happen. But that’s kind of what’s going on with this Atlanta Hawks team right now. Everything they are doing seems to turn to gold and the 11 game win streak. Listen to this. The average margin of victory is 17.8 points. They are not just squeaking by teams. They are beating them soundly 17.8 points. Only one of the 11 was a team that they did not beat by double digits. And that was nine. So in all 11 these games, the Hawks are kind of winning easily, which is scary to see how this is going and kind of playing out for this team right now, it’s amazing. They’ll have another game on Friday against the Houston Rockets, a team that’s very good. But they are ten and ten in their last 20 games.

And then the Hawks return home to play Golden State on Saturday, a team that struggled since Jimmy Butler tore his ACL. And of course Curry’s been out for about two months now with a knee injury, so that could be a win for them hopefully. And then they have Memphis on Monday and that could be another game where they should be expected to win. So may this streak continue for the Hawks as they continue to play the best basketball in the NBA. So a big basketball weekend. Let’s first see how the dogs do tonight in round one of the NCAA tournament.
