(NBC)- New details are emerging after a shocking shooting targeted the Los Angeles home of global music star and business mogul Rihanna.
Authorities say 35-year-old Ivanna Lisette Ortiz has been booked on suspicion of attempted murder. Her bail has been set at 10 million dollars.
Investigators say Ortiz allegedly fired multiple rounds from an AR-15 style rifle from her car outside the mansion Sunday. The home is shared by Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky. According to reports, the couple and their young children were inside the residence at the time of the shooting.
Audio from police dispatch described the situation as gunshots fired from a vehicle toward the gate of the property.
Officials say no one was injured in the incident.
Neighbors say the shooting left the normally quiet neighborhood shaken.
“Nobody should have to deal with fear in your own home. That’s terrible,” one neighbor said.
Investigators are also reviewing a cryptic social media post allegedly made by Ortiz about two weeks before the shooting, in which she tagged Rihanna and wrote, “Are you there? Cause I was waiting for you to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around.”
Authorities say the motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
The case will now be reviewed by the district attorney, who is expected to determine formal charges. Ortiz could make her first court appearance as early as Tuesday.
