Two candidates qualify for Towaliga Judicial Circuit Superior Court race

Jonathan Lang Adams and Natalie Fears Sundeen will compete for the seat currently held by Judge Thomas H. Wilson.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Two candidates have qualified to run for a seat on the Superior Court of the Towaliga Judicial Circuit in Georgia’s May 19 election. The Towaliga Judicial Circuit serves Monroe, Butts, and Lamar Counties.

The race is for the seat currently held by Judge Thomas H. Wilson.

Both candidates qualified during Georgia’s candidate qualifying period ahead of the 2026 primary election.

The candidates are:

Jonathan Lang Adams of Monroe County, who lists his occupation as a judge.

Natalie Fears Sundeen of Monroe County, who lists her occupation as an attorney.

Superior Court judges in Georgia run in nonpartisan elections, meaning candidates do not run under a political party label.

Voters in the Towaliga Judicial Circuit will choose between the two candidates during the May 19 election.
