Former contractor nurse with Johnson County Sheriff’s Office arrested
45-year-old Erin Everett was arrested Friday, charged with two counts of Crossing Guard Lines with Intoxicants (Felony), and two counts of Giving Inmates Prohibited Items (Felony).

WRIGHTSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A former contractor nurse with the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office faces multiple charges after an investigation that began in January.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 45-year-old Erin Everett was arrested Friday, charged with two counts of Crossing Guard Lines with Intoxicants (Felony), and two counts of Giving Inmates Prohibited Items (Felony).
They say Everett was working at the Sheriff’s Office at the time of the offenses and admitted to them.
“I was saddened to learn of this betrayal of trust and disregard for the safety of our staff and those in our care,” said Sheriff Greg Rowland. “I am proud of the way our staff handled this investigation, and I know the actions of one individual does not reflect the hard work and dedication of the many men and women who serve at the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.”
Sheriff Rowland says the investigation remains ongoing.
