Bibb County deputies investigating deadly car crash

The Sheriff's Office says the Driver of a Jeep lost control and overturned

MACON, Georgia (WMGT-DT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a car crash that left one person dead, and another injured.

According to a news release, the crash happened just after 5 p.m. on November 28. A Jeep was moving south on Interstate 475, when the driver lost control, left the roadway, and overturned near the Zebulon Road exit.

The female driver was ejected from the car. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The sheriff’s office says it’s waiting until next of kin has been notified to release her name.

As for the male passenger, fire rescue removed him from the vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.
