Black Friday shopping tips

The holiday shopping season is upon us, and according to the latest research from Finder.com, an estimated 149 million Americans plan to shop this black Friday, which means stores had to properly prepare.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) —The holiday shopping season is upon us, and according to the latest research from Finder.com, an estimated 149 million Americans plan to shop this black Friday, which means stores had to properly prepare. Academy Sports store director Frank Howard says they make sure all their staff members are on the floor and ready to assist shoppers.  

“Well, the biggest thing is we make sure all our team’s members, are educated enough on sales were running and equipped enough to help a customer wherever they are in the store”, said Howard. 

Howard says his store double stocking their products to ensure all shoppers get what they want. 

“Well again being attentive to our customers asking specific questions. But were never out of stock, we order online; we’ll find a way to get the customers everything they do need”, said Howard. 

To keep up with sales success, Howard says they put the wishes first. 

“I think the best way to measure success is how many people you see smiling, and how many people we can engage from shopping, and how frequently they come back to see us…they vote with there dollars in that way”, said Howard.

Manger Kenny Snyder says many people don’t know how to black Friday shop, so he shares this tip. 

“I would just have an idea of what you’re looking for, do a little research of what we have, the sales, and doorbusters we have on black Friday”, said Snyder. 

And Snyder says if you’re not into tackling the big crowds, online shopping for black Friday is always a possibility. 

“Online is a popular thing right now! they have online sales and convenience of picking up curb side so, I would say online is a popular choice right now”, said Snyder.
