Humanitarian Gang Inc. to host Thanksgiving drive-thru giveaway

A local nonprofit is preparing to help hundreds of families ahead of the holiday.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – Humanitarian Gang Inc., in partnership with the Warner Robins Housing Authority, will host its 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Drive-Thru Giveaway on Saturday, Nov. 22.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon at Jimmy Rosenberg Homes on Arlington Court. Families will receive fresh vegetables, pantry staples and other Thanksgiving essentials at no cost. Organizers say distribution will be first come, first served.

This year’s giveaway also includes fresh collard greens donated by Jibbs Vineyard. The organization says the annual event is part of its larger mission to reduce food insecurity and support underserved neighborhoods across Middle Georgia.

“We are proud to continue this annual Thanksgiving tradition,” the executive director of Humanitarian Gang Inc. said in a statement. “The generosity of our sponsors, contributors and volunteers allows us to serve families with dignity, compassion and consistency.”

More than two dozen local sponsors and contributors are supporting the event, ranging from small businesses to community organizations and faith-based groups.

Volunteers are scheduled to arrive between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m., and media outlets are invited to attend.
