Middle Georgia Chick-fil-a hosts holiday canned food drive to support local families
Chick-fil-A restaurants across Middle Georgia are kicking off the season of giving with a community-wide canned food drive on November 20.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The one-day initiative will support 11 local food pantries, helping stock their shelves as many families face increased needs heading into the holidays.
Guests who donate at least three canned goods at participating restaurants will receive a free digital offer card for their choice of a Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich or an 8-count Chick-fil-A Nugget entrée. Donations can be dropped off in the designated lobby collection area inside Middle Georgia locations.
The canned food drive will benefit Macon Rescue Mission, Chard Wray, Laurens Baptist Association, Rutland Community Pantry, Storehouse Ministry, Sacred Heart Community Center, Trinity United Methodist, First Baptist Forsyth, Centerville Methodist, The Grove and Mid-State Baptist Association.
“The holiday season is all about giving back to our communities and caring for our neighbors,” said Steven Richardson, local Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Sam Nunn Blvd. “This canned food drive is one small way we can support families across Middle Georgia and help make the season a little brighter for those in need.”
Chick-fil-A encourages residents to check with their local restaurant for hours before dropping off donations, as schedules may vary. All stores will remain closed on Sunday.
