Cracker Barrel rolls out limited-time holiday menu with returning favorites and new seasonal additions
Cracker Barrel is rolling out its limited-time holiday menu.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Cracker Barrel is ushering in the holiday season with a lineup of limited-time dishes, expanded Heat & Serve meal options, and new seasonal retail items, according to a press release from the company.
Starting October 21, the restaurant chain is bringing back several customer favorites, including the Country Fried Turkey, Cinnamon Swirl French Toast, and Turkey Sausage. The company says these dishes are returning due to high demand and positive guest feedback in previous years.
Alongside returning menu staples, Cracker Barrel is debuting a new item: the Breakfast Burger. The dish combines elements of the chain’s signature breakfast menu, featuring a beef patty topped with bacon, a sunny-side-up egg, American cheese, and its Hashbrown Casserole on a toasted buttermilk bun.
The company is also highlighting the return of its Broccoli Cheese Casserole and a seasonal Merry Berry Tea as part of its holiday lineup.
Heat & Serve Meals Available for Preorder
Cracker Barrel’s Heat & Serve meals, designed for families looking for an at-home holiday option, are now available for preorder. The meals come in two sizes:
- Heat & Serve Family Dinner – Serves 4–6 people and includes turkey breast, sides such as sweet potato casserole and green beans, dressing, cranberry relish, and rolls.
- Heat & Serve Feast – Serves 8–10 people and includes two turkey breasts, additional sides, and both pumpkin and pecan pies.
The meals are designed to be heated and ready to serve in about two hours. Pickup is available between November 22 and 30, with similar offerings available for Christmas featuring ham or prime rib.
Company Focuses on Training and Food Quality
In the press release, Cracker Barrel says it has implemented an enhanced training program for managers, grill cooks, and kitchen production staff. The training emphasizes long-standing recipes and consistency in food preparation as the company looks to reinforce its focus on homestyle cooking and improve execution across its restaurants.
Seasonal Retail Items Return to Old Country Store
Cracker Barrel’s Old Country Store locations are also rolling out seasonal merchandise, including holiday décor, gifts, toys, and apparel. The company says many items are exclusive to its stores and are part of an effort to create a “winter wonderland” experience for holiday shoppers.
