WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Houston County Bears hosted the Creekview Grizzlies at Freedom Field on Friday night in a first round GHSA playoff matchup.
The Bears (9-1, 4-1 in 2-AAAAA) finished 2nd in region. Houston County’s only loss was to region champion Thomas County Central.
The Grizzlies (5-5, 5-2), from Canton, are the #3 seed in Region 6.
This was the first ever meeting between the two teams.
The winner of this game will play the winner of Lovejoy and Rome.
