Warner Robins Police seek new leads in 2018 Barberitos cold case

The shooting happened around 9:36 p.m. on January 21, 2018, at Barberitos on 3123 Watson Blvd.

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Warner Robins Police Department is renewing its call for information in a 2018 homicide at a Barberitos restaurant, as the case remains unsolved nearly seven years later.

The shooting happened around 9:36 p.m. on January 21, 2018, at Barberitos on 3123 Watson Blvd. Investigators say the suspect entered the restaurant through the back door, confronted three employees and demanded money from the register.

During the robbery, the suspect shot a 21-year-old male employee in the head. The suspect then took the money and fatally shot 23-year-old Parker Moore before fleeing on foot through the rear of the building, police said.

The suspect is described as 6 foot tall man who was wearing dark clothing and a face covering.

The Houston County District Attorney’s Office is offering an $8,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.
