Southwest Duo, Windsor Senior Shine as Macon Touchdown Club Honors Week 12 Standouts
Patriots’ J.J. Wilson and Rinaldo Callaway headline the final regular-season awards; Windsor’s Santiago Medina earns special teams honors

MACON, Georgia – (41NBC/WMGT) – As the final week of the Georgia High School Association regular season wrapped up Friday night, the Macon Touchdown Club gathered Monday to recognize three standout performers from Week 12 before playoff football kicks off.
Southwest sophomore quarterback J.J. Wilson earned Back of the Week honors after leading the Patriots to a 27-12 win over Jefferson County. Wilson completed 9 of 18 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns, closing the season on a high note for the Patriots.
Wilson’s teammate, senior Rinaldo Callaway, took home Lineman of the Week. The Rutgers commit made an impact on both sides of the ball – recording seven tackles, one for loss, and three interceptions on defense. On offense, Callaway added four receptions for 92 yards in the victory.
The Special Teams Player of the Week went to Santiago Medina of Windsor Academy. The senior kicker, wide receiver and defensive back delivered in all phases, punting three times for a total of 148 yards while going a perfect 5-for-5 on extra points in the Knights’ 35-8 playoff win over Augusta Prep. Windsor advances to face Brentwood in The End Zone’s Week 13 Game of the Week on Friday.
Meanwhile, First Presbyterian Day head coach Brett Collier addressed the Touchdown Club about his 7-3 Vikings and their upcoming playoff run.
The evening also featured a special guest appearance from SEC on ESPN broadcaster Dari Nowkhah, who shared insights from his broadcasting career and experiences covering college football across the Southeast.
