GBI: Child Killer Used Sweatshirt in Suicide

According to the GBI, child killer Ryan Brunn, died by hanging himself with a sweatshirt in his Jackson Prison cell.

Brunn was found in his cell yesterday afternoon and pronounced dead a little after 5:30pm.

According to a news release from the GBI, the ongoing investigation did not recover any evidence to indicate Brunn’s death was anything other than a suicide.

The release also says the medical examiner found no other significant trauma on Brunn’s body.

Brunn plead guilty on Tuesday to the December killing Jorelys Rivera. The 7 year old’s body was found in the trash compactor of the Canton apartment complex where she live and where Brunn worked.
