(LILAMAX)- Apple is unveiling a new look for its streaming platform — Apple TV Plus is now simply Apple TV. The company calls the rebrand “a vibrant new identity,” signaling a streamlined approach to its entertainment offerings.

The platform’s next major release will be “F1: The Movie,” a high-octane sports drama starring Brad Pitt as a retired Formula One driver making a comeback. The film will make its global streaming debut on December 12, just in time for the holiday season.

Despite ongoing concerns about artificial intelligence replacing jobs, tech internships remain in high demand. Cloudflare announced plans to hire 1,111 interns in 2026, while Shopify is bringing on about 1,000 engineering interns this year.

According to industry data, internship postings in software development, IT systems, infrastructure, operations, and data analytics now account for 2.7% of job listings, up from 2.2% in 2024.

In biotech, Neonc Technologies is finalizing a $50 million partnership with Quazar, expected to close by October 23. The collaboration will strengthen clinical trials and infrastructure for Neonc’s therapeutic pipeline, which focuses on innovative treatments for brain cancer by overcoming the blood-brain barrier.

Meanwhile, Broadcom and OpenAI announced a sweeping strategic agreement to develop 10 gigawatts of custom AI accelerators. Under the deal, OpenAI will design the systems while Broadcom handles development and deployment. The rollout will begin in the second half of 2026 and continue through 2029, spanning OpenAI’s own facilities and partner data centers.
